Project Update: Biblio Lofts - 759 Queen Street East, Toronto

Biblio Lofts is a 7-storey boutique condo development by NVSBLE Development, located in Toronto's South Riverdale neighbourhood on Queen Street East. The building brings 30 residential loft units to one of the city's most established east end communities.

Our team handled the waterproofing on this project, which included:

-Below-grade waterproofing to the foundation walls, elevator pits, and car -stacker pit

-Fluid-applied and cementitious waterproofing to the garage podium deck and storm water tank

-Pedestrian and non-slip traffic coatings to service rooms and balconies throughout the building

-Water repellant sealer at the basement slab on grade

A great day on the course for an even greater cause! ⛳️

We were proud to sponsor a hole at the Building for Kids Charity Golf Classic in support of BC Children's Hospital and the incredible work they do for children and families across British Columbia 💙

Thank you to everyone who stopped by our tent throughout the day. It was great connecting with familiar faces, meeting new ones, and being part of such a meaningful event!

Work is set to soon begin at 1401 Parkinson Rd. in Woodstock, where our team will be taking on just under 200,000 sq.ft. of roofing across the facility.

This massive roof belongs to General Motors in Woodstock, Ontario which is their largest parts distribution center in Canada.

Our team handled the roofing on this project. Here's a basic breakdown of what that involved:

-Removing the existing roof system down to the steel deck

-Installing new insulation boards across the roof surface

-Installing a new waterproof membrane system across the roof

-Using a mechanical fastening method across the majority of the roof and adhesive where fastening can't be applied

-Installing drains, curbs, exhaust fans, and blow-offs throughout

-Adding gas line supports and metal trim to finish the edges

Back for our second year at the Heatwave volleyball tournament, and it was another incredible day! 🏐
