Concrete pump tip: Your outrigger load becomes ground pressure the moment it hits the dirt.

Quick math: Outrigger force (lb) ÷ pad area (sq in) = PSI on the ground.

Match that PSI to the soil’s bearing capacity (listed on each outrigger). If your PSI is higher than what the ground can handle, you need bigger pads. Simple as that.
