The crew has been busy landing trusses, installing drywall before the roof system goes on, applying a high-quality roofing membrane, and completing the exterior air barrier system.

With the roofing materials now arriving on-site, we're getting ready for shingle installation and another major milestone in construction.

From structural work to the finishing details, it's all about quality workmanship and keeping the project moving forward.

Here we are—the D.A.M. Good crew wrapping up the Parksville Dental Clinic with the help of LOCAL Drywall.

This project included 1,600 linear feet of corner bead, 1,200 square feet of Level 5 finishing, round ceilings, and coffered ceilings with hidden light valances. Nothing about this job was straightforward.

Close to 50 boxes of mud and nearly 10 gallons of Level 5 spray went into this one. The D.A.M. Good guys absolutely killed it.

Another busy week at Godfrey! The mechanical trades are flying through the building. Coastline Plumbing and Marmot Heating and Cooling are hard at work running water lines, connecting ductwork, and getting the building ready.

Each unit has its own gas furnace, backed up by its own heat pump to keep the home warm in winter and cool in summer. The only thing shared between the units is one wall.

It’s not easy working around all the brace walls and engineered LVL beams, but we’ve got the right guys on the team. The project is coming together in a dam good way!

Back at 5472 Godfrey Road, we’re installing the soundproofing system on the party walls between each suite.

This is a double 2×4 wall assembly with R14 insulation in both wall cavities, a one-inch separation between the walls where the SonoPan soundboard is installed. It is designed to dramatically reduce sound transfer between suites, helping each homeowner enjoy the privacy and quiet of their own home.

Back at the Godfrey Road fourplex, and things are moving fast. We’re landing the trusses, then installing drywall on the attic party walls before the roof system goes on.

Next comes a high-quality peel-and-stick roofing membrane, followed by our siding crew wrapping the exterior sheathing with VP100 to create a high-performance air barrier. Then the roof delivery arrives and shingle installation gets underway to keep the rain out.

It’s coming fast and furious as October’s rainy season approaches!

🏆 Proud update from last night!

Our own Scotty pulled off a 3rd place finish in the 2026 Crash to Pass Boat Race at Saratoga Speedway, and he earned every bit of it.

He installed THREE engines in less than two months to get there. Most guys would have called it quits after the second one, but Scotty kept at it until he found the right one.
Lucky number three this year, buddy. Great work!

That's the kind of grit we see from this crew every day, on the job site and off it. D.A.M Good crew, and we're all proud of you. 💪
