Wrapping day at Russet Way, West Vancouver. For this project we’re using Solitex Primo peel and stick instead of standard building paper. The difference matters, every joint at the foundation is sealed, all window and door openings are prepped and taped, and the gap between the concrete foundation and plywood is fully covered. No air can get through.
Most people don’t think about the wrap, but it’s one of the most important layers in a build. Done right, it reduces air leakage, improves energy efficiency, and extends the lifespan of everything that goes on top of it. Done wrong, it causes moisture problems and costly repairs down the line.
