Homeowners were looking to renovate their main floor laundry and powder room and their tiny ensuite and walk in closet.

In the laundry we replaced the door with a window, turned the tiny powder room into a storage closet/pantry and the laundry and washroom became one!

In the ensuite we stole a little space from the closet to increase the shower and vanity size! We relocated the closet entry to within the washroom and custom built-ins for an organized space.

The challenge while designing this house was the extreme grade of the lot. In an attempt to reduce the amount of excavation required, we designed a walk-in basement style house where the main floor living quarters is upstairs and additional living quarters in the basement for multi-generational living!!
