Exciting progress at the new 256-bed Schlegel Villages Ottawa Long-Term Care Home!

As the first phase of a future continuum-of-care community, this project will help support seniors through care, accommodation, outreach, training, and research in Ottawa. Located at The Ottawa Hospital’s Riverside Campus, the home will feature private resident rooms, spacious shared areas, and a welcoming “Main Street” connecting resident home areas with the broader community.

Construction continues to move forward, with drywall, ceiling grids, millwork, and flooring nearing completion. The first of three elevators is now operational, equipment start-ups are underway in preparation for integrated commissioning, and exterior masonry is bringing the building’s impressive façade to life. Work on the new parking lot is also progressing toward completion this
fall.
We’re proud to be part of bringing this resident-centred community to life and look forward to the positive, lasting impact it will have on seniors, families, and the Ottawa community.

🚧 Project Spotlight | Ottawa, ON

We’re excited to share the progress on one of our latest commercial construction projects in Ottawa!

With construction well underway, there’s a lot happening on site as this 41,000 sq. ft. retail project continues to take shape. 🏗️

From framing and masonry to mechanical, electrical and interior work, progress is happening across the site every day.

It was a privilege for the MP Lundy Construction team to attend the official opening of the new Andrew Fleck Children’s Services Intergenerational Early Learning Centre at Perley Health.

Having served as the construction partner for this project, it was incredibly rewarding to see the space completed and, more importantly, to see it being used for the purpose it was designed for — bringing generations together.

This project is about much more than the building itself. It creates a place where children and Perley residents can interact, share experiences and learn from one another, creating connections that can have a lasting impact on the community.

We’re proud of the work our team, trades and project partners put into bringing this unique space to life. Being there for the opening and celebrating this milestone alongside the families, children, residents, and staff was a great way to see the project come full circle.

We just wrapped up our annual Town Hall event. We had real conversations, shared our goals, challenged ourselves to look ahead, and aligned on what it will take to move forward together.

We're in the final stretch at our 2450 Stevenage Drive project in Ottawa!

This 24,000 sq. ft. warehouse, featuring 2,400 sq. ft. of modern office space, is nearing completion as the team focuses on the final details.

✔️ Rooftop units have been installed
✔️ Building energization is complete
✔️ Interior finishes are complete and now in the deficiency phase
✔️ Final occupancy documentation is in progress
✔️ Civil works are continuing on site

A big thank you to our project team, trade partners, and everyone involved for their dedication and hard work in bringing this project to life. We're looking forward to reaching the finish line and delivering another quality facility for our client.

We are pleased to share that construction on the Andrew Fleck Children’s Service Intergenerational Early Learning Centre at Perley Health is completed.

This project has brought together the renovation of existing office space and a thoughtfully designed new addition, creating a welcoming and modern environment for children, Veterans, seniors, families, and the broader community.

We are proud to have been part of delivering a space that supports connection across generations and enhances the services available on site.
