The uOttawa Chemical Engineering Students’ Society (ChESS) is a student run organization that represents Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology students in the Engineering Students’ Society and Faculty of Engineering. We host events such as trivia pub nights and BBQs throughout the year for students in our department. Along with these fun social events, we also provide students with professional

development opportunities such as being able to attend national chemical engineering conferences, go on plant tours and participate in professional case competitions, all to prepare our students for the real world.

We are very proud to share the accomplishments of the uOttawa Chemical Engineering students at this years Canadian Society of Chemical Engineering (CSChE) conference in Toronto.

We were able to organize our delegation of seven students, 6 of whom presented and competed in different competitions. Everyone did an incredible job representing our program.

🥈2nd place - Robert G. Auld Student Paper Competition: Mustapha Ezzeddine

🥈2nd place - Plant Design Competition: Stephen Palczak

🥉3rd Place - 3-minutes Pitch Competition: Emilia Wesolkowski

Nous sommes très fiers de partager les accomplishments des étudiants en génie chimique de l’uOttawa lors de la conférence de cette année de la Société canadienne de génie chimique (CSChE) à Toronto.

Nous avons pu organiser notre délégation de sept étudiants, dont 6 ont présenté et participé à différents concours. Tout le monde a fait un travail incroyable pour représenter notre programme.
