Heat is what kills a haul truck tire, and you cannot see it building. TKPH can.
Run a truck too heavy, too fast, or too far and the tire builds heat faster than it can shed it. The casing breaks down from the inside, and by the time it lets go the damage was done shifts ago.
TKPH, tonne-kilometres per hour, is roughly load times speed across the haul, and every tire has a manufacturer limit. TireMax tracks it live for every haul truck against that limit. When one climbs toward its ceiling, the dispatcher sees it and can act, a shorter cycle, a cooler route, a change of duty, before the heat does permanent damage. Not a tire change after the failure. A decision before it.
