A little while ago, I caught myself getting frustrated over something that honestly sounds small: stopping for gas.
Not because pumping gas is hard.
Not because I’m lazy.
But because it felt like one more piece of my day disappearing.
I already spend enough time working. Enough time driving. Enough time rushing from one thing to the next. And every time I had to go out of my way for fuel, wait at the pumps, stand there while the tank filled, I kept thinking:
“This is time I don’t get back.”
Time away from FAMILY.
Time away from being HOME.
Time away from VACATION.
Time away from the people I actually CARE about.
I started thinking about all the times I’ve seen people late for work because they needed gas first. Which sounds silly at first — until you realize how often it actually happens. You leave later than planned, the station’s busy, you’re tired, maybe you forgot the night before, maybe payday’s tight and you’re calculating every dollar while standing at the pump.
It’s never really “just getting gas.”
Sometimes it’s stress.
Sometimes it’s exhaustion.
Sometimes it’s one more stop when you already feel burnt out.
And for some people, it’s even harder:
mobility issues,
chronic pain,
anxiety,
disabilities,
kids in the back seat,
long workdays,
multiple vehicles,
or simply not wanting to spend what little free time you have sitting at a gas station.
That’s honestly where this business came from.
I thought:
“What if people could just come home… and their vehicle was already full?”
No extra stop.
No standing at the pumps in the rain or snow.
No “I’ll get gas in the morning” panic before work.
Just one less thing on your plate.
I’m not a giant company. I’m just a local guy from the Saint John / Rothesay / Quispamsis area trying to build something useful for the community I grew up in.
If I can save someone even 20–30 minutes of stress, frustration, or lost time every week, maybe that’s worth something. Because time is the one thing none of us ever get back.
If this sounds helpful to you, your family, your workplace, your apartment building, or even your marina or boat slip, feel free to reach out or share the post. Supporting local means a lot while I get this off the ground.
