Building What Matters in Burnaby!

Two projects. One growing community. We're proud to see the Burnaby Lake Recreation Centre and Cameron Community Centre & Library featured in the City of Burnaby's recent Building What Matters publication, highlighting progress on some of the city's major civic developments.

At AI Industries, we're proud to have contributed structural steel fabrication to both projects, helping bring these important community spaces one step closer to reality. It's exciting to see the structures we help build become spaces where communities will gather, connect, learn, and grow.

Think you know structural steel? Let’s put that to the test. 👀🏗️
MYTH: Steel structures are always more expensive than other building materials.
FACT: The true cost of a structure depends on much more than the material itself. Design, fabrication, labour, construction time, transportation, and project requirements all influence the final cost.

And when it comes to steel, efficiency, strength, flexibility, and recyclability can make it a valuable choice for a wide range of projects. 🦾

What steel myth should we tackle next?
