We’re excited to share a recent end-of-line automation project built to deliver speed, flexibility, and seamless integration, handling up to 420 cups per minute from carton packing through to palletizing.
This fully automated line features:
✔️ NTP-40 Carton Packer – high-speed, flexible loading across multiple pack formats (10–120 count)
✔️ NCP-25 Case Packer – efficient, reliable case packing with optimized throughput
✔️ NRP-10 Robotic Palletizer – consistent, scalable palletizing for downstream efficiency
What makes this system truly perform is the technology and partners behind it:
• B&R Industrial Automation – ACOPOStrak enables high flexibility with fast, HMI-controlled changeovers and shared carriers across multiple formats. Motion is fully synchronized between the loading robot, funnel system, and track for precise high-speed operation, while glue application is aligned directly to product position. Integrated servo technology also reduces cabinet size, simplifies wiring, and streamlines diagnostics through a single control source.
• Festo – Festo guided pneumatic motion and positioning components enable dynamic repositioning of stoppers on the collation conveyor, allowing product patterns to be adjusted on the fly without stopping production. This increases flexibility, supports faster recovery during changeovers, and helps maintain high-speed operational efficiency.
• IFM Electronics - IFM’s high-speed, dual-output distance sensors verify collation status in real time without impacting cycle time, eliminating the need for multiple sensors on the pickup arm.
• Proax Technologies – Proax supplied the latest SMC slim vacuum generators with integrated sensors, enabling per-product pickup verification without adding weight to the gripper. As this was a new product, their team provided hands-on support, helping optimize both the layout and network configuration.
