On June 30, we took part in a CEO interview outlining Homerun’s shift from strategy to funded ex*****on.

In this short clip, Brian Leeners emphasized that the priority now is to capitalize the plan, not just refine it. He noted that the Company is in advanced discussions with potential partners and investors, and expects incoming capital to provide near-term validation of the business model.

Since the interview was recorded, Homerun announced a signed LOI from a leading European project finance bank for up to €170 million in project financing for its Solar Glass Project in Bahia, Brazil.

The LOI outlines strong interest in structuring and syndicating long-term debt in line with the project’s bankable feasibility study, subject to customary due diligence and credit approvals.

Homerun is converting its long-term vision into a unified, vertically integrated platform focused on high-purity silica, solar glass, advanced materials, and energy storage.

In this clip, we dive into how Homerun's collaboration with UC Davis (UCD) is helping us move beyond solar glass into a suite of high-value, next‑generation materials.

Listen to hear Brian discuss:

- A patented femtosecond (“femto”) laser process that purifies raw silica sand to ultra‑high grades in a single step, without harsh chemical leaching.

- How we are converting our silica and an affiliated graphite source into silicon carbide using a thermoelectric route, leveraging off‑the‑shelf equipment for scalability.

- A breakthrough path to fused silica using electricity‑driven thermoelectric processing, cutting out multiple conventional processing steps and targeting strong economics from day one.
