❤️ Supporting the Whitecourt Food Bank & Our Community ❤️

Today, Tri-Steel Salvage had the opportunity to make a donation to the Whitecourt Food Bank, and I walked away with so much more knowledge about everything they do for our community.

In the short time I spent there, I learned just how much the Food Bank provides beyond putting food on the table. Their impact reaches so many people in so many different ways — and there are some incredible resources available that many people may not even know about.

🐾 Pet food is available for those who need a little help keeping their furry family members fed.

💕 Feminine hygiene products are available to ANYONE who needs them. You can simply stop in during their operating hours and pick up what you need — no judgment and no complicated process.

🏢 Local businesses can help too! Businesses are welcome to access feminine hygiene products to stock their washrooms, helping make these essential products available throughout our community.

The Whitecourt Food Bank is also always looking for volunteers and monetary donations. Whether you can give your time, make a financial contribution, or simply help spread the word about the services they offer, it all makes a difference.

This visit gave me an even greater appreciation for the people behind this organization and the work they do every day.

At Tri-Steel Salvage, supporting the communities that support us has always been incredibly important. We’re proud to give back to organizations like the Whitecourt Food Bank that quietly make such a huge impact on individuals and families in our community.

Today we say goodbye and good luck to our summer student, Jeremy Remillard, as he heads back to Grande Prairie Polytechnic to begin his 2nd year of Power Engineering! 🎓

Jeremy is the definition of the kind of employee every employer hopes to have. He showed up every day with a smile on his face, understood his duties, never complained, and worked incredibly hard.

Jeremy, continue on the path you’re on, because you are going to do amazing things in life. Your hard work, positive attitude, and willingness to learn will take you far.

We’re going to miss having you around, but we’re excited to see where this next chapter takes you!

Our hearts are with the Pangborn family during this incredibly difficult time.

To help support Brody’s grieving family, the proceeds from all scrap metal dropped off in our donation bins outside our Whitecourt location will be donated directly to them.
