CNC Machinist / Programmer – 3 & 5 Axis

Pay: $24.00–$34.00 per hour | Based on experience
Position Overview:
Sequel Concepts is seeking an experienced and dependable CNC Machinist / Programmer to join our manufacturing team.
The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in CNC programming, machine setup, and precision machining using both 3-axis and 5-axis equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Program, set up, and operate 3-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• Perform FCS (Flexible Clamping System) setups and conventional CNC machine setups.
• Develop, modify, and optimize CNC machining programs.
• Prepare and verify lights-out machining programs for safe and reliable unattended operation.
• Utilize Cimatron and Lemoine CAM programming software.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, CAD models, and machining specifications.
• Select appropriate cutting tools, feeds, speeds, and machining strategies.
• Troubleshoot programming, machining, and setup issues.
• Inspect machined components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
• 3–5+ years of CNC machining and programming experience.
• Experience with both 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machining.
• Proficiency in CNC programming and toolpath development.
• Experience with Cimatron and Lemoine programming software.
• Strong knowledge of FCS machine setups.
• Experience with conventional CNC setups and workholding.
• Understanding of lights-out machining and unattended manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and reliability.
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as required.
Additional Assets
• Experience with Tebis CAM software is considered an asset; training can be provided.
• Previous experience in mold making, tool and die, or precision manufacturing.
• Experience improving machining efficiency, optimizing cycle times, and implementing lights-out machining processes.
Compensation
$24.00–$34.00 per hour, depending on experience, technical knowledge, and qualifications.
Overtime may be required based on production schedules and workload.
