We could have skipped it.

Our floor is history, once and for all.

Yes, we did it: with our logistics department now completed as the final area, the entire lower level of our production facility now features a new 2K epoxy resin floor.

With this upgrade, we are not only making a visual statement, but also reinforcing our commitment to quality, precision, and a modern manufacturing environment.

“Training is useless.”

That’s true, if it’s just mandatory videos you half-watch while already thinking about your next meeting.

That’s exactly why we do things differently.

For us, training isn’t something you just watch or listen to. It has to be experienced. The equipment is right there, you work with it directly, try things out, make mistakes, ask questions, and only then will you really understand how it works in real life.

That simply can’t be done online. No video can replace the moment when you physically interact with the system and suddenly think: Ah, now it actually makes sense.

That’s why we take training seriously enough to also offer one-to-one sessions: learning at your own pace, working through real use cases, with a programme tailored to actual needs.

And sometimes the value of that becomes very clear: when partners don’t just click a link to a video but travel halfway around the world to experience it in person.

This week we had the pleasure of welcoming Iris from our Chinese representation Dantsin to Winterthur — for exactly that kind of hands-on training.

🎤 Stage time for our apprentices!

At our vocational training morning, our apprentices had the opportunity to demonstrate their presentation skills.

In addition to their carefully prepared presentations, they were also challenged to think on their feet: Our training supervisor came up with a special challenge – PowerPoint Karaoke. With no preparation and no prior knowledge of the topic, our apprentices were given quirky and amusing subjects to present on the spot.

This required more than just confidence – they had to communicate clearly under pressure, believe in themselves, and above all, show a sense of humor.

Our apprentices are our future, and we see it as our responsibility to accompany them on this journey, support them, and give them the space to explore their potential and grow in the process.

A big compliment to our apprentices – you did an amazing job! 👏
