25 years. ⏳
That’s all corals may have left.
That’s not just a statistic. It’s a deadline.

Lunch webinar – save the date! 💻🌊

No sea? No problem. Switzerland may be landlocked, but our diving community can still play a real role in protecting the ocean.

If you dive in Swiss lakes, travel to coral reefs, or simply feel at home underwater, this webinar is for you. Join us over lunch and explore how even from a country without a coastline, divers can become ambassadors for the ocean.

📅 Tuesday, 28 April 2026
⏰ 12:15–13:00 CEST
💻 Live on Zoom
👉 Register for free: https://lnkd.in/eSgummaK
Note: The webinar is held in English.

You’ll hear from:
🤿 , Swiss diver and content creator
🐠 Patricia Stöckli, SSI dive instructor based in the Philippines
🪸 Hanna Kuhfuss, co-founder rrreefs

Together, we’ll talk about why coral reefs matter, what is happening at our project sites in the Philippines, and how rrreefs is helping rebuild reef habitats with 3D-printed clay structures.

This is what it looks like for us: our interdisciplinary team around one table, questioning assumptions and refining how we can rehabilitate degraded coral reefs. Because rebuilding marine habitats takes constant iteration.

Take a look at one of our many production brainstorming sessions.

Why does rrreefs give her hope for the future of coral reefs?

💬 “rrreefs makes coral reefs matter to people who might never have thought about, let alone cared about, them before. Ocean protection has to go mainstream, and rrreefs is leading the way.”

Abi is our Lead for Reef Rehabilitation & Conservation Training in the Philippines. It was when she got into scuba diving that she decided to pivot and align her career with her passions.

“Underwater has long been a place of zen for me. Listening to the quiet of the underwater world and watching the life that flourishes in these reefs. Just like how my dad had shared this piece of paradise with me, I want to be able to share this piece of paradise with others as well.”

Abi is a Divemaster with a Master’s in Ocean and Coastal Resource Management. At rrreefs, she leads reef rehabilitation and conservation training in the Philippines.
Why does rrreefs give Abi hope for the future of coral reefs?

💬 “When I first spoke to the team, I asked: Why Mindanao? Then I realised rrreefs wasn’t choosing the most touristic dive spot, but they build reefs where the ocean needed them, alongside people who shared the same mission.”
