What happens when a child opens a book for the first time? Perhaps, at that very moment, a whole new future begins to unfold.
At Müller Martini, we are proud to create technologies and solutions that help produce books. Because books are far more than printed paper – they foster education, creativity, and culture, and they have the power to change perspectives.
For the Day of Good Deeds, we would like to highlight a project that is especially close to our hearts.
In the barrios of Mendoza, Argentina, many children grow up surrounded by poverty, violence, and limited access to education. For many of them, holding a book is not something they take for granted. Through the mobile library initiative of Biblioteca Popular David Blanco, some children hold a book in their hands for the very first time.
With a shopping cart full of books, the dedicated team goes door to door, bringing stories directly to children and creating spaces for imagination, learning, and hope.
Because reading means more than understanding words. Books open new worlds. They allow children to dream, imagine a different future, and believe in themselves.
“A book does not change reality on its own. But it can change how a child understands, imagines, and interacts with that reality.”
This message reminds us why our work carries a deeper meaning. Together, we want to help give more children access to books, education, and new opportunities. 📚
