The VX-3000 is an EN 54-16-certified voice alarm and public address system designed for both everyday operation and emergency communication. Its modular, IP-based architecture supports flexible audio routing, decentralized system designs and future expansion.

🚗 How can parking operators support users quickly, even when no staff are on site?

Parking facilities often require fast response when users face gate issues, payment problems or require assistance at the entrance or exit. With the CX-1000 Series, communication, CCTV monitoring and gate control can be connected in one IP-based system environment.

For parking applications, the CX-1000 Series enables operators to:

The new Pairi Daiza tropical world Edenya - the world’s largest covered tropical garden - is not only an architectural landmark, it also sets a new benchmark for safety and communication.

Together with local installer Eiffage-Collignon, we delivered a tailor-made decentralized TOA VX-3000 combined with various loudspeakers to perfectly match the different zones and acoustic requirements within Edenya:
🔸 5 decentralized 19” cabinet racks interconnected through a fiber optic network,
🔸 ceiling speakers for public indoor areas and accommodations,
🔸 wall-mounted speakers for corridors and technical and service zones,
🔸 special long-throw horn-array speakers for the greenhouse.

The result: a highly reliable safety sound system delivering clear announcements and evacuation messages to the staff and all visitors in every situation.

How far can a voice announcement travel? 📢
In 1962, TOA explored this question with a super-large horn speaker system in Japan.

The system measured 6.6 metres in total length, with a horn diameter of 3 metres. The furthest audible distance reached 12 kilometres. The scale was exceptional, but the purpose still feels relevant today. It was about making spoken messages reach people clearly and reliably.

For TOA, public address and voice alarm have always been about more than producing sound. They are about engineering communication that supports safety, guidance and intelligibility, especially when messages need to be understood quickly.

Horn speakers have long supported this mission because they project speech efficiently over distance. Compared with conventional loudspeakers, horn speakers are more directional and can deliver higher sound pressure levels over distance with efficient use of amplifier power.

Today, this principle has evolved further with horn array technology.
Horn array speakers, such as TOA’s HA Series, combine multiple horn units to control sound more precisely, supporting long-range intelligibility, wide horizontal coverage and reduced unnecessary sound dispersion.

🚉 New Reference: Mockava Railway Station, Lithuania
Reliable passenger communication is essential for safe and efficient railway operations.

At Mockava Railway Station in Lithuania, our partner Hansab implemented a TOA IP-A1 solution to deliver announcements across both the station platform and a separate passenger waiting area building.

By utilizing the existing network infrastructure between the buildings, the system could be installed efficiently while providing a flexible foundation for future expansion.

The solution includes:
