MAXACTIVAT/Zn is an activated zinc oxide (ZnO) source and an effective alternative to pharmacological ZnO concentrations in piglet diets. In a recently published study of Li et al. (2026), weaned piglets fed with a low-dose activated ZnO strategy achieved comparable efficiency to pharmacological ZnO diets reducing diarrhea incidence and enhancing intestinal barrier function. Great days in the Philippines! Together with Arca Galleon Agriventures, Inc., Dr. Charlotte Heyer had the opportunity to visit customers and exchange insights on current topics in animal nutrition.
The visit also included a technical seminar with a special focus on MAXFERM/PRO, our postbiotic based on solid-state fermentation, as well as discussions around feed conservation and probiotics.
