🏆🔧 Part 1 | WorldSkills Regio Cup 2026 – What an exciting competition day!

Following the official kickoff on Wednesday, the competition officially started yesterday at our TEC—Training & Education Center. From early morning on, participants demonstrated technical expertise, precision, and focus under real competition conditions. ⚙️💪

We are especially proud of our two HAHN Automation Group participants, Louis Hoffmann and Linus Oberst, who represented the with outstanding commitment throughout the competition. 👏

Thank you, Jörg – 16 years of dedication at HAHN 👏

After nearly 16 years with HAHN Automation Group at our site in Engen, we are saying goodbye to our colleague Jörg as he begins his well-deserved retirement.

Since joining us in September 2010 as an industrial mechanic, Jörg has been a valued part of the team. With his technical expertise, hands-on mentality, and pragmatic approach, he was always someone colleagues and customers could rely on – whether in the workshop or on-site.

But Jörg was much more than that: a true problem-solver, an organizational talent, and a teammate who brought experience, humor, and positivity into everyday work life.

Now a new chapter begins – with more time for biking 🚴, camping ⛺, and many exciting adventures ahead.
Dear Jörg, thank you for your commitment, your humor, and the many years we shared together. We wish you good health, happiness, and all the very best for your retirement. 🍀

Networking & Good Food with HAHN🍴

On May 12, we had the pleasure of supporting the Annual General Meeting of the Regionalrat Wirtschaft Rhein-Hunsrück e.V. at the Kulturhaus Rheinböllen with catering from our HAHN Automation Group canteen.

For around 70 guests, our canteen team prepared a varied finger food buffet that accompanied an evening full of networking, exchange, and inspiring conversations.

Events like these are also a great opportunity to showcase a part of HAHN Automation Group that many people may not know yet: Our canteen in Rheinböllen is open not only to employees, but also to external guests.

From fresh daily meals and vegetarian options to a weekly soup and salad bar, our canteen offers a welcoming place for lunch, meetings, and community.

A big thank you to the Regionalrat Wirtschaft Rhein-Hunsrück e.V. for the trustful collaboration and to everyone involved for the pleasant exchange throughout the evening. ✨

Getting active together for a good cause! 💙

Last weekend, our Croatia site participated in the Wings for Life World Run for the sixth consecutive year.

As always, the HAHN Automation Group team from Croatia returned to the beautiful Lake Oresje. Some colleagues ran, while others enjoyed the fantastic atmosphere and a cozy barbecue with their families. ☀️

Activities like these demonstrate the team spirit of the HAHN Automation Group. Thank you to everyone who made this day special once again! 🙌

Preparing for the international stage with WorldSkills Germany 💪⚙️

As part of the WorldSkills Germany training activities, the national mechatronics teams came together for an intensive training camp during the “Night of the Candidates” event at Festo in Esslingen am Neckar.

Over three days packed with technology, teamwork, and the thrill of competition, participants trained under realistic championship conditions using the original European Championship 2025 task — with maximum focus on precision, performance, and collaboration.

While the team of Rogers Germany GmbH is currently preparing for the WorldSkills Championship in September, our team from HAHN Automation Group is already training with full motivation for the European Championship 2027. 🔥

Both teams will represent Germany on the international stage, making the exchange and joint training at the highest level especially valuable.

A big thank you to Festo for the strong support and for providing an excellent competitive environment. Training sessions like these truly make the difference! 🙌

Promoting Young Talent WorldSkills Germany 🔧✨

This year, we’re proud to have Linus Oberst and Louis Hoffmann representing HAHN Automation Group at the RegioCup in Rheinböllen on May 27–28, 2026. 💪

Both are competing in the disciplines of industrial mechanics and mechatronics, where they bring strong technical skills, curiosity, precision, and team spirit to the competition.

At the RegioCup, participants take on hands-on challenges—from assembling and adjusting components to solving complex technical tasks under time pressure. It’s all about practical expertise, problem-solving, and performing at a high level.
