A new perspective with DIBOND®mirror ✨

At MEZBAN STUDIO, a designer carpet showroom and restaurant in Sofia, Bulgaria, a DIBOND®mirror interior has been used for the ceiling cladding as part of a bold interior design concept.

The mirrored surface reflects the sculptural installation below, creating additional depth and new perspectives throughout the space.

With reflection qualities similar to conventional glass mirrors, DIBOND®mirror combines a striking appearance with the advantages of an aluminium composite material: lightweight, shatterproof and easy to process, making it an attractive solution for creative interior applications.

WHEN MATERIAL BECOMES LIGHT ✨

On August 21–22, 2026, the Électrolapse Festival transformed Saint-Sorlin-en-Valloire into an impressive setting for music, light and immersive stage design.

At the heart of the festival, the Main Stage featured a striking central structure with luminous, crystal-inspired elements and backlit panels made from IMPEX® J850 Opal 3 mm.

For a stage design of this scale, IMPEX® combines visual impact with technical performance and design flexibility. Its excellent impact resistance, optical properties, versatile fabrication possibilities and very good fire performance of Euroclass B-s2,d0 according to EN 13501-1 make it well suited for creative exhibition and stage applications.

In this project, the opal surface of IMPEX® J850 helped create the illuminated elements of the scenography, interacting with backlighting and laser projections to bring the crystal-inspired design to life.

The result: an impressive interplay of material, light and creative design that became an integral part of the festival experience. ✨

Our thanks go to Jean-Christophe Bossio, architect and author of the Electrolapse scenography, for his creative vision, and to everyone involved in bringing this impressive project to life.

A beautiful creative application with KAPA® ✨

✨ Creativity beyond the workplace ✨

At this year’s Museumsnacht Hegau Schaffhausen, our colleague Elisabeth Leblanc from our Display Team in Singen presented a selection of her latest artworks at Yoga ARC Studio.

Outside of her work at 3A Composites, Elisabeth is a self-taught artist with a passion for instinctive and emotional painting. Her work moves between figuration and surrealism, combining strong colours, contrasts and different techniques to express emotions and inner worlds.

For the exhibition, her artworks were displayed on exhibition walls made from DIBOND®, creating a clean, professional and versatile backdrop for her expressive pieces.

We love seeing the creativity and passion our colleagues bring to life beyond their everyday work. 🎨
