𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝟭𝟵𝟮𝟬𝘀 𝗦𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗠𝗼𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

Built around 1920 for a coal washing plant, this stationary steam engine by W.C. Holmes & Co. weighs approximately half a ton.

Thanks to our partner Machine Building Systems Ltd, UK for sending us a video of their spectacular exhibit.

The system combines item Line 12 profiles for the frame and Line 8 profiles with D25 Bearing Units, together with an R50 timing belt drive, to move and position the half-ton machine precisely.

The system moves from left to right on a simple timer. When the steam engine returns to its starting position, the valves direct air into the engine, causing it to rotate.

Before new solutions from the item Building Kit System are launched on the market, we test them intensively in-house - including our synchronized multiple conveyors.

Whether with belt or timing belt conveyors, direct or center drive, with accumulating or non-accumulating belt: we check exactly under which conditions slippage occurs or when the load on the system is too high.

Based on these tests, we can specify reliable load limits - and thus guarantee the function. We tested the multiple conveyor with up to six synchronized conveyors. Transport weights of up to 100 kg are possible.
