Our headquarters in Germany organizes the sales, logistics, and marketing for Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. Our European production facilities are located in southern Germany (Lauchheim) and the Czech Republic (Jihlava). We are also proud to introduce our European Design & Engineering Center (E-DEC) based in Lauchheim. We created 2,000 square meters of presentation, training, and meeting rooms to present theory-based training and practical machinery presentations. Workpieces can be machined, the production processes can be optimized and together the acquired expertise can be evaluated and confirmed directly on the machines in the presentation center. Our customers receive the complete solution, which they can subsequently transfer to their own production. We consistently strive to be a company that is able to respond rapidly to changes in our customers’ business environment. 🔥 Safety First at Sumitomo!
Our team recently completed a Fire Warden Training delivered by HelpFirst. The session covered fire safety fundamentals, emergency response procedures, evacuation protocols, and included practical hands-on fire extinguisher training.
Regular safety training helps ensure that we are prepared to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations, contributing to a safer workplace for everyone.
A big thank you to HelpFirst and all participants for their engagement and commitment to workplace safety.

💡 Where innovation meets speed! 🏎️
On September 30, 2026, we hosted our Sumitomo Innovation Day 2026 at TeamSport Karting in Mönchengladbach, Germany.
Together with customers from across North Rhine-Westphalia and our partners Rhenus Lub, an expert in metalworking fluids, and Sorma, a distributor of Yamawa threading tools, we spent the day exploring new products, innovative solutions, and opportunities for valuable face-to-face conversations.
During two major presentations, we showed the latest product innovations. Afterward, it was time to put on our helmets and hit the track! 🏁

💡 Innovation trifft Geschwindigkeit! 🏎️
Am 30. September 2026 fand unser Sumitomo Innovation Day 2026 bei TeamSport Karting in Mönchengladbach statt.
Gemeinsam mit Kunden aus Nordrhein-Westfalen und unseren Partnern Rhenus Lub, Experte für Kühlschmierstoffe, und Sorma, Vertriebsgesellschaft für Gewindebohrer von Yamawa, drehte sich alles um neue Produkte, innovative Lösungen und den persönlichen Austausch.
In zwei großen Präsentationen stellten wir aktuelle Produktneuheiten vor. Anschließend hieß es: Helme auf und gemeinsam Vollgas geben! 🏁
Vielen Dank an alle Gäste und Partner, die diesen Tag zu einem besonderen Erlebnis gemacht haben.

🍿 Viele Fragen, tolle Gespräche und jede Menge Popcorn!

Beim Berufsinfotag in Willich am 23.09. durften wir zahlreichen Schülerinnen und Schülern unser Unternehmen und unsere beruflichen Möglichkeiten vorstellen.

Das Interesse war groß, die Gespräche waren spannend und die vielen Fragen haben uns gezeigt, wie wichtig der persönliche Austausch bei der Berufsorientierung ist. Zur Stärkung gab es für unsere Besucherinnen und Besucher natürlich auch frisches Popcorn. 😊

Wir blicken sehr zufrieden auf einen erfolgreichen Tag zurück und bedanken uns bei allen, die an unserem Stand vorbeigeschaut haben. Ein großes Dankeschön geht außerdem an das Organisationsteam für die gelungene Veranstaltung!
