TSD Technology Masterclass Copenhagen
Live Measurement, Data Quality and TSD Analysis
September 8-10, 2026 | Greenwood Engineering, Copenhagen

This 3-day professional course is designed for people who want to understand how Traffic Speed Deflectometer measurements are prepared, conducted, validated, processed and interpreted for structural pavement assessment.

A central part of the masterclass is a rare opportunity to experience the full TSD workflow in practice - from live measurements with Greenwood Engineering's most advanced TSD technology to data validation, processing, quality assessment and TSD data interpretation.

Participants will take part in measurement preparations, observe, conduct and discuss live TSD operations, review the collected data and explore how measurement conditions, system setup and data quality affect the final TSD results.
The course is relevant for current and future TSD operators, pavement engineers, consultants, road agencies and researchers working with pavement structural assessment.
Over three days, we will cover:
• TSD fundamentals, slopes, key indices and core concepts
• Transitioning from FWD to TSD
• Preparing a TSD measurement
• Live TSD measurement and practical review
• Inspection, validation and reporting of TSD data
• Important TSD indices
• Viscoelastic backcalculation
• Advanced local analysis, including joints and 5 cm features
• Practical cases from concrete roads, airports and focus on features such as debonding, vertical cracking and repeatability

The masterclass concludes with an Experts Round Table, where participants can bring their own questions, challenges and cases for discussion.
Limited to 12 participants to ensure a focused, interactive and practical learning environment.

Dates: September 8-10, 2026
Location: Greenwood Engineering, Broendby, Copenhagen
Early bird: EUR 2.500 excl. VAT (Before August 9)

We were excited to share insights from CTO David Malmgreen-Hansen recent presentation at Road Profile Users’ Group (RPUG) Conference in Pittsburgh, USA.
Our latest research compares a Stereo Vision-based profiler against traditional sensor modalities. By leveraging high-resolution linescan imagery and advanced matching algorithms, we demonstrate that estimating Mean Profile Depth (MPD) via stereo vision yields promising results when compared to established point and line laser systems.

It was an energizing and rewarding week. CTO, David Malmgreen-Hansen,
Machine Learning Engineer, Vijay Gill Hansted and Computer Vision Specialist, Mads Emil Brix Doest would like to thank everyone who took the time to stop by our booth. We had many engaging conversations, saw strong interest from across the industry, and felt real momentum building around our solutions. The event provided a great platform for exchanging ideas and exploring new opportunities and collaborations.
