Proper waste management in all our projects is a fundamental priority for Group IGE, reflecting our strong commitment to environmental stewardship. Every member of our team embraces this responsibility, ensuring proper waste management throughout every phase of each project, whether in offices or on-site.

Non-hazardous waste: Materials such as paper, packaging, and wood are stored separately in appropriately designated containers, clearly labeled for each waste type. Disposal is always carried out by an authorized waste manager.

Hazardous waste: Items like used oil, oil filters, and other hazardous materials are stored separately in specific, labeled containers with the necessary safety measures: covered, sheltered, ventilated, and equipped with liquid containment trays. Disposal is also managed exclusively by authorized professionals.

To handle oil spills and other emergencies, all our sites are equipped with environmental kits containing absorbent materials and tools to contain and clean any spills. Additionally, we conduct spill response drills to ensure our preparedness.

In collaboration with our client Elecnor, GroupIGE International is proud to announce the completion of the Santos de la Piedra wind farm in Teruel, a milestone that drives our vision toward a greener future. 🌱

Completed last August, this project marks a significant achievement in the renewable energy sector in Spain. With a capacity of 16.2 MW and 8 wind turbines, the farm will produce clean energy annually to supply over 10,000 homes in Spain. 💡

Projects like this reinforce our commitment to the planet and renewable energies, delivering engineering solutions of excellence and innovation.

Today we celebrate World Energy Saving Day! 🌍

Small actions can make a big difference in energy consumption. Did you know that simple steps like deleting old emails, getting rid of the heaviest ones, and regularly emptying the recycle bin can contribute to sustainability?

A case study by Orange highlights the connection between deleting emails and energy savings. At Orange, if every employee deleted 50 unnecessary emails, enough energy could be saved to light up the Eiffel Tower for an entire day, every month!
