Si tu planta aprovecha las fiestas para parar un motor, la parte más importante del trabajo se hace ahora. A finales de diciembre frenan a la vez proveedores, transportistas y talleres, y la pieza que nadie pidió en noviembre es la que deja el motor abierto en Navidad.
Cinco comprobaciones antes de que acabe el mes:
-Qué escalón de mantenimiento toca de verdad según las horas
- Consumibles de ese escalón, por referencia: filtros, bujías, juntas, retenes
- Piezas críticas de repuesto, nuevas o reacondicionadas: culata, bomba de agua, regulador de gas
- Técnicos y taller reservados ya, no cuando el motor esté frío
- Plazos de envío y aduana si las piezas vienen de fuera

If your plant uses the holidays to stop an engine, the most important part of the job happens now. In late December suppliers, carriers and workshops all slow down at once, and the part nobody ordered in November is the one that keeps the engine open over Christmas.
Five checks before the month ends:
-Which maintenance step is really due by running hours
- Consumables for that step, by part number: filters, spark plugs, gaskets, seals
-Critical spares, new or reconditioned: cylinder head, water pump, gas regulator
- Technicians and workshop booked now, not when the engine is already cold
- Shipping and customs lead times if the parts come from abroad
