Manager v3 is officially out of beta and live in production!

After many years of building, we finally have a real end-to-end data platform in place. We have sensor data from Collector, run logs, setups, lap times, conditions, etc. in one place and correctly structured.

We at TestLogger believe in systematic work, and Manager is what makes it easier for individuals and teams. Coach TQ reviews every run and helps you stay consistent with logging, plan your track days, and capture what you learned in structured debriefs. With consistent data, Manager lets you see how you're progressing across the event or the season.

This is probably the biggest milestone in TestLogger's history. The foundation we've built opens up a lot of exciting development paths ahead. This is just the beginning, so stay tuned!

Massive thank you to Antero for all the development work you have put into the project in the last two years. Huge thanks to everyone who tested Manager and gave feedback during the beta. Super proud of what we have been able to build.

TestLogger will be onsite at the EOS - Euro Offroad Series race at on Thursday and Friday. If you're curious about our products and want to see them in action during the race, come by and say hi.

If you’ve been thinking about using Manager but aren’t sure how to get started, I’m also happy to give a short intro or training session to help you get going.

It was a priviledge to join NNRC podcast and thanks for the nice experience Keenan Keith White! Plenty of talk about data and we touched few other topics as well like Worlds in 2011 and the sport in general.

BTW thanks to the podcast, we have some delays with Collector shipments.

🚀 NEW NNRC PODCAST – Product Spotlight: TestLogger 🎙️

Ever wondered how data & telemetry could actually make you faster on the RC track? 🤔
In this episode of the No Name RC Podcast, Lefty sits down with Jussi Luopajärvi, the creator of TestLogger, to talk about how racers can use real data to improve lap times, consistency, and car setup — just like in full-scale motorsports.

We dive into:
✅ How TestLogger works
✅ Turning data into speed
✅ Using telemetry to improve your driving
✅ Why data-driven racing is the future of RC

This one’s for the racers who love tech, tuning, and going faster — and even if you’re not a “data person,” the concepts here might change how you think about testing and setup.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Coach TQ has a little Christmas gift for you all!

Sometimes there's no official integration available for importing lap times, so now you can simply take a photo of your results and let Coach TQ import the laps for you! Check the video to see how it works.

It’s been a while since the last update on Manager v3 development. We pushed beta 100 to production a few days ago, so it’s a good moment to recap progress since the first beta in March.

The tool has developed massively with 100 updates, and I think we might be onto something bigger than initially planned.

The vision has always been to help people work systematically: collect data in different ways and turn it into actionable output. Data has always been structured in TestLogger, and now AI opens possibilities for insights that can actually speed up your progress.

So how does AI, Coach TQ, show up in Manager?
* Observations: Every run you log, Coach TQ scans lap times, comments, conditions, setup changes, sensor data and more. It flags things like car behaviour, driver confidence trends, or data quality issues. These observations are mapped into the same change matrix as setup changes, helping you see cause and effect more clearly from the start.
* Session plans and debriefs: In professional motorsport, preparation and post-session review are where most of the progress happens. Now you can create test or race plans directly in Manager. Coach TQ pulls from your history to draft focused plans and then reviews the session results with ideas for the next run.
* Chat: AI chat is everywhere now, so we added it too. You can use it for setup discussion during session to get ideas for next run or to break down vehicle dynamics topics. For example, ask TQ to explain anti-dive geometry in simple terms.
* Onboarding: In new onboarding flow Coach TQ helps you prepare assets and data to get you started faster with TestLogger.

Coach TQ lives from context, so you’ll notice description fields around the tool. Add your long-term goals, skill level, track layouts, car specs, or anything relevant. More context means more accurate output.

There’s a ridiculously long road ahead before I can say I’m happy, but I’m genuinely proud of what we’ve built as an evening hobby project. Time will tell if our approach is right or wrong 🙂 The tools are still under heavy development, but feel free to give Manager v3 a spin at https://manager.testlogger.com. And yes, it’s free to use.

TestLogger is not only working with data and lately we have worked together with Central Mobility Foundation cefmof.fi to build hydrogen powered RC cars for demo purposes!

You can check out and test these cars this week at Jyväskylä during Rally Finland. Check location and schedules at https://cefmof.org/experience-green-hydrogen-activities-at-hydrogen-pitstop/

People might be also interested the technology used in the project. We have used teamassociatedrc 4wd Short course chassis as a base and then integrated h2gp_foundation 30W fuel cell system to the car. Car works as hybrid so it runs both hydrogen and battery in parallel to produce the power.
