Optimus Plus are now looking for an experienced Principal Structural Designer to join our team on a full-time, on-going contract basis. This role can be based in our Aberdeen or Glasgow on a flexible hybrid working model where 2 days per week can be worked remotely.

We are seeking candidates that have significant previous experience in the offshore oil and gas energy sector, ideally with knowledge of the North sea assets and brownfield oil and gas projects. Experience of concept and detailed design is essential.

Due to a significant increase in structural work scopes, Optimus Plus are now looking for an experienced Lead Structural Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen or Glasgow on a full-time, on-going contract basis.

Our ideal candidate would be a chartered engineer with significant previous experience in a Lead position. This role is required to assist with various activities of our structural department, including client focal point, managing detailed design scopes and acting as deputy to the Head of Department.

Due to a increase in structural work scopes, Optimus Plus are now looking for a PRINCIPAL / SENIOR / STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join our team on a full-time long-term contract basis. This role is based in Aberdeen or Glasgow on a flexible hybrid working model where 2 days per week can be worked remotely.

We are seeking candidates with previous structural engineering experience, with a past knowledge of the North Sea brownfield sector and / or asset Structural Integrity Management (SIM). A working knowledge of STAAD Pro and MathCAD will be required for this role and past experience of the North Sea brownfield engineering will be a distinct advantage. Any additional skills in FEA tools, especially SESAM GeniE is preferred.

Optimus Plus are now looking for an experienced SENIOR STRUCTURAL DESIGNER to join our team on a full-time, long-term contract basis. This role can be based in our Aberdeen or Glasgow office on a flexible hybrid working model where 2 days per week can be worked remotely.

We are seeking candidates with significant previous experience in brownfield and North Sea offshore oil & gas projects who are skilled in 2D / 3D design and drafting and must be able to utilise ReCAP Point Cloud Data. Candidates with previous experience using Autocad 3D and Navisworks is ideal.

Getting it right doesn’t happen by accident, and it’s rarely because you just do what you did last time. If rinse and repeat isn’t your thing, you could be who we’re looking for.

Optimus Plus are now looking for a PRINCIPAL / SENIOR STRUCTURAL ENGINEER to join our team on a full-time long-term contract basis. This role can be based in our Aberdeen or Glasgow office on a flexible hybrid working model where 2 days per week can be worked remotely.

Suitable candidate's will have significant structural design experience working in the offshore oil and gas industry and in particular in EPC brownfield projects. Any knowledge of the north sea assets, asset integrity management, life extension studies or decommissioning would be beneficial.
