• Old cement removed from skews
• Scotch slate repairs in area
• Prime skew with cement
• Final coat skew and sponge down leaving neat finish

Chimney Breast
• Pointing carefully removed from face of chimney
• Remove all debris and dust by soaking wall
• Repoint chimney

Chimney pots (haunching)
• Carefully remove all chimney pots
• Rebed/ realign all chimney pots insuring they are level
• Rebuild base
• Prime with new cement around chimney cans
• Final coat with new cement

Another Job Completed in Kingswells! 🏡

We recently completed a full dry ridge and dry verge system installation for a valued client in Kingswells.

✔️ Removed all existing ridge tiles
✔️ Cut roof tiles back where required
✔️ Installed new ridge battens and a ventilated ridge roll
✔️ Fitted new Marley grey ridge tiles using a modern dry ridge system

Water Ingress Repair on Skews ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Another successful repair completed by DB Roofing & Maintenance.

This project involved significant water ingress around the skews. The existing cement work, damaged slates, and rotten boards were carefully removed. The roof area was then fully stripped back, with the old sarking removed and replaced using new timber.

Works completed included:
• Removal of failed cement and damaged slates
• Full strip and replacement of affected boards and sarking
• New breathable felt installed
• Roof re-slated
• Skew primed and finished with a final protective coating
• All works completed to a clean, neat, and weatherproof finish
