👋 Meet The Team Monday

We always say it’s the people who make Groundhog, and for some families, it’s become a bit of a family affair.

This week we’re introducing Douglas Moule, one of our Preppers in Factory 1, who has been part of the Groundhog team for 8 years.

If the surname sounds familiar, that’s because Douglas is the son of Lin, our Head of Housekeeping, who many of you met a few weeks ago in our Meet The Team series.

From preparing units ready for paint to making sure every panel is finished to the highest standard, Douglas plays an important role in the journey from raw materials to finished welfare units ready for delivery.

When asked what he enjoys most about working at Groundhog, his answer was simple:
“Seeing the finished product out on the yard ready to deliver after all the hard work that goes into making it.”

This week, meet Lyndon from our Fabrication department - one of the skilled welders helping bring Groundhog units together day in, day out 🔥

With 26 years of service under his belt, Lyndon has played a huge part in the growth of Groundhog over the years, fabricating and welding everything from windows and shutters to the finer details that keep production moving.

And as Lyndon puts it himself… customers probably don’t realise just how much time and precision goes into perfecting a weld joint 👌

A massive thank you to Lyndon for over two decades of hard work, knowledge and keeping the team motivation strong 💪

The day covered the Groundhog range in more detail, giving the team the chance to get up close with the units, ask questions and build an even deeper understanding of the products they work with out on hire.

From under the chassis to inside the units, sessions like these are all about sharing knowledge and helping teams get the very best from the equipment.

This week, we’re introducing Lin from our Housekeeping team 🧼

If you’ve visited Groundhog HQ, chances are you’ve already seen the results of Lin’s hard work. From the offices and canteen to keeping the whole place spotless day in, day out, Lin plays a huge part in keeping everything looking good.

But what makes Lin’s story even better?
Groundhog really is a family affair ❤️

Lin works alongside both her husband and son here at HQ, starting the day together with a coffee in the canteen before heading off to their different roles across the business ☕️

The family atmosphere is something we hear about a lot at Groundhog… and Lin says it’s one of her favourite things about working here.
