Great progress at Langlands from the lads.

Backfill has begun installing the drainage layer and insulation to the basement. Steel roof installation well underway. Larch has been applied to the majority of the glulam beams, ready for internal stud work.

The bricklayers are working their magic with the flint and its push push push to get it screeded, ready for Christmas break.

The owners approached architects Space Program Ltd to completely transform their property, maximising light and space while honouring the original stone walls.

Site update at project Langlands.

Brickwork has begun and the structure is starting to take shape. Glulam beams have all been positioned and the two storey section can now be erected. Waterproofing of the basement with a post applied membrane has also been completed, leaving the roof to complete.

Lots of nice details on this one combining flint, brick and cladding all featuring from the timber frame. Basement backfill will begin once the geo drain has been installed
