The heat made this one a serious challenge, but we pushed through and got the job done. 💪

Fireplace/media wall plastered and ready to go! 👌

Ensured to cut in neatly around the new limestone fireplace surround now, and it’s really beginning to come together. Nothing transforms a room quite like a feature fireplace 🤩🔥

No job too small! 👌

A little patching job after a bath was removed to make way for a new shower.

Even the smaller jobs deserve the same care and attention as the bigger ones. This area was fully prepped, holes filled with bonding, and finished with a fresh skim coat, leaving it ready for decoration.

Another neat and tidy job completed! 🔨

No more Artex! 👋🏻👋🏻

Today’s job involved waving goodbye to an old Artex ceiling and bringing it into the modern day. We overboarded the ceiling before applying a fresh skim coat, leaving it smooth, flat and ready for paint.

We also skimmed the newly installed chimney breast, taking extra care around the new limestone surround to achieve a crisp, clean finish.

If you’re still living with tired, dated Artex ceilings, they don’t have to stay that way. Overboarding and skimming is a great way to create a smooth, modern finish that can completely transform a room ⚒️🧰

Ceiling fixed up, to look sharp 👌🏻

This one had suffered from water damage, so the first step was removing all the affected plasterboard. We then added extra timbers to strengthen the area, fitted new vapour barrier plasterboards, and finished it all with a fresh skim for a seamless finish.

From water stained and worn out to smooth, solid, and ready for decorating! 👍
