With storm Amy fast approaching this weekend. Myself and my team have decided to be on call all day and night on Friday and Saturday for repairs or to make roofs watertight if it cannot be done that day.

All calls or messages attended to if call is before 12 midnight.
After 12, we will be there the following day.

Won't be expecting storms as bad as what we have had in the past few years but I know there will be a few people worried.

Hi everyone, just a wee post to let everyone know that we are providing a fascia, soffit and guttering cleaning service the whole of January and a yearly up keep of all the properties on our list, not just services offered above but any roofing repairs.

With the high demand in guttering needing cleaned out or downpipes unblocked we decided to offer a service to put your minds at ease.

Within this service we will be doing a small roof report from the eave of the roof when the ladders are up, if we see any problems we will let you know with photographic evidence and tend to all repairs the 1st week in February.

There's also flyers being posted out in the next month or so offering all of the above mentioned.

Few roofers have tried and failed to stop the water ingress into this property in arbroath, so we changed the cement skews to lead tabling and overflashing with a stepped flashing at the chimney. Grade a1f paper was used to stop chemicals from the lead damaging any stonework.

We are fairly confident of this one being sorted now and the customer can finally put his mind at ease with the on going problem.

We recently attended one of our booked in jobs from before Christmas.

•Haunchings Cracked
•Pointing falling out

We repointed the chimney and added 2 coats of cement to the haunchings and skews. We also added soakers under every course of slate up the skews🔥

Today we stripped off all the old clay ridge and hip tiles and replaced them with new 14inch zinc.

We used heavy duty straps to secure the zinc onto new ridge roll and replaced all broken slates.

18 slate repairs were also done around the whole property and all the guttering and outlets were cleared.

Recent customer had problems with water ingress into there living room and the main reason for that was the flat roof.

We stripped the roof back adding new timber firrings with a 20mm fall on every metre, 18mm osb and tilt fillet.

We also renewed the fascias, soffits and guttering with new white upvc return boards and soffit trims before adding the new black deepflow guttering.

Customer was more than satisfied with the finish and my team were glad to help make this roof water tight again.
