Another project underway for the Japp Transmissions OHL JAPP crews in Fife.

Our team are currently assembling an L4 DT plus Sealing End Platforms for our new client PLPC.

Great to see the crews getting stuck into the work and delivering safely and efficiently on site.

OHL team are proud to be assisting KTL on a double circuit 110kV loop-in project in Dublin. A great team effort from everyone involved, with the work carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.

It’s always rewarding to support projects that strengthen and improve the electricity network. A big thanks to all the crews on site for their hard work and commitment.

This week our OHL crews carried out a Working at Height Emergency Rescue Drill, simulating a real-life emergency scenario involving the recovery of an injured operative from height.

These drills are critical for testing:
✅ Emergency response procedures
✅ Rescue planning and coordination
✅ Team communication under pressure
✅ Equipment readiness and competency

In high-risk environments, preparation is everything. Regular training and realistic emergency exercises help build confidence, improve response times, and ensure everyone understands their role when every second counts.
