We’re currently delivering emergency re-roofing works to the 15th & 16th floors of a London hospital tower block, with live operating theatres directly below. All works are being carefully coordinated to ensure safety, minimal disruption, and continuous hospital operation.

The programme includes:

• Full scaffold er****on
• Strip back to deck
• Installation of upgraded insulation to meet current U-value requirement
• Application of a SikaShield flame-free capsheet system
• New handrail installations
• Associated M&E alterations.

PROJECT SECURED 🏗️

We’re delighted to announce our appointment as Principal Contractor by Wellspring Academy Trust for a new project at Eastfield Infants & Nursery.

Delivered over two phases, this refurbishment scheme will focus on the upgrade of flat roof coverings, alongside a range of associated works including partial replacement of structural roof decks, renewal of rainwater goods, cladding, roof lights, and all enabling works required to successfully deliver the programme.

This project highlights our capability to deliver complex works within live education environments, with a strong emphasis on safety, quality, and minimal disruption.

A big well done to everyone involved in securing this opportunity, we look forward to bringing this project to life.

We’re pleased to confirm the successful handover of the new MUGA pitch, marking the completion of Phase 1 at the £4.3m Nenegate education project. This all weather facility will provide pupils with much needed year round play and sports opportunities.

We’ve recently completed a full roof refurbishment project across a residential block in Bedfordshire, delivering major improvements to safety, performance and energy efficiency.

Our works included:

🔹 Upgrading insulation to achieve compliant U values
🔹 Safe removal of asbestos slates
🔹 Full pitched and flat roof replacements
🔹 New waterproofing and vent systems
🔹 Scaffold installation to ensure site safety
🔹 Dedicated tenant liaison throughout

𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗮𝗶𝗻: Celebrating Women in Construction 👷‍♀️✨

This International Women’s Day, the theme Give to Gain reminds us that when we invest in people, we create stronger futures for everyone.

At 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗠&𝗝 𝗚𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽, we’re proud to celebrate a major milestone for our team. Our first apprentice to qualify from the 2025–26 intake is also our first female roofing apprentice.

At just 17 years old, Niamh has successfully completed her Roofing Level 2 apprenticeship, becoming the first of this year’s cohort to achieve qualification. An incredible achievement and a moment we’re very proud of.

By supporting and encouraging women to enter construction, we’re not only opening doors for talented individuals like Niamh, we’re helping build a more inclusive and skilled industry for the future.

When we give opportunities, mentorship and support, we all gain.
