Second phase of this job well underway. Back in February we started this job, installing a new water main. Then it was decided by the customer to pretty much start again with the garden. We backfilled the trench, removed all the grass and gravelled what they wanted. Unfortunately i didn't have the availability to do the remainder of the work there and then. Fast forward to the start of October and we got started! . A total of 32 meters of fencing has been replaced, including installing sleepers, and now onto the indian sandtone. Another few days and we should be done and dusted!

Chimney lowered and partially rebuilt due to it having a pretty bad lean, remainder of chimney pointed aswell.

Loft insulation installed at local village hall, existing insulation needed putting right, and then we needed to add another 150mm of new insulation to bring the total thickness to 300mm. This is a requirement that now must be fulfilled if your applying for a grant for solar pannels.

Latest job completed, old unused stone wall removed and wall pointed. Then the old concrete base was removed, in total 3 x 8 yard skips was filled, all by hand of rubble and soil. Drainage installed to help with rain water removal and finsished with indian sandstone slabs.

Second phase of this roof replacement completed last week, sandtoff 20/20 tiles removed and replaced with slate. Due to the height difference between tile and slate, we needed to raise the finished roof height from the outside, as to not interfere with the finished plaster on the inside. Roof just had enough pitch to use natural slate with over 100mm headlap.
