Office Assistant needed in Birkenhead
Chris Reynolds Pallets is a trusted name in pallet distribution and recycling, known for efficiency, reliability, and excellent service across the UK. We are now looking for a proactive and organised Office Assistant to join our team and help support daily operations due to increased contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide administrative support to the Office Manager and Directors
• Communicate with suppliers and customers regarding orders and delivery updates
• Make and receive phone calls from suppliers, ensuring clear and professional communication
• Create, manage, and update spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel
• Assist with general office administration, filing, and data entry
• Maintain clear communication with directors throughout the day to support smooth operations
• Monitor order progress and update internal systems accordingly
• Help ensure day-to-day office tasks are completed efficiently and accurately
Requirements:
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in an office assistant or similar admin role (preferred)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite
• Good geographical knowledge of the UK
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to manage workload effectively and work well as part of a team
