Project Delivery Update 📣

Fantastic drone shots capturing the progress of the new Maggie’s centre in Liverpool.

Located close to the new Royal Liverpool University Hospital and The Clatterbridge Cancer Centre, the new centre will provide free practical, psychological and emotional support for people with cancer, as well as their family and friends, across Merseyside and beyond.

We are delighted to be working once again with Maggie's, supported by the Steve Morgan Foundation. The artist impressions provide a glimpse of how the completed centre will look once finished.

Well done to the site team and look forward to posting more updates soon! 👏

Success at the "Secured by Design" Awards 2026 🎉

Fantastic news that our Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Llyn y Forwyn school project in Ferndale has won the Educational Development Award at ATLAS, the Secured by Design Awards, which recognises excellence in designing out crim

Delivered in partnership with Rhondda Cynon Taf Council, the £16m school was designed with safety, wellbeing and community use at its heart. Working closely with South Wales Police’s Design Out Crime Officers, the client team, architect, landscape architect and wider project partners, security was embedded into the design from the outset.

Since opening in January 2025, there have been no reported crimes on site — a fantastic reflection of the collaborative approach taken throughout the project.

We’re incredibly proud to have played our part in delivering this modern Welsh-medium learning environment, which also achieved a BREEAM Excellent rating.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this award-winning project. 👏

✅ BRE Surveillance Audit Success | ISO 19650

We are delighted to share that Wynne Construction has successfully completed our annual BRE surveillance audit for ISO 19650.

This achievement reflects the continued strength of our information management processes, our commitment to quality, compliance and digital delivery, and the hard work of our teams in maintaining high standards across the business.

With ISO 19650 accreditation we are proud to offer our clients a structured, consistent and auditable approach to managing project information. This supports coordination, clearer decision-making, reduced risk and improved handover information throughout the lifecycle of a project.

During this latest audit, we demonstrated our processes using our Kings Moat Primary School project for Cheshire West and Chester Council and the Albert Gubay Business School project for Bangor University (artist impressions shown of both projects).

A huge thank you to everyone involved in supporting the audit process and helping to demonstrate the robust procedures, evidence and culture that underpin the way we manage project information.

Well done team 👏

Contract Award - Ysgol Pendref, Denbigh 🙌

Great news to announce that we have been appointed by Denbighshire County Council to deliver the £11.7 million design and build redevelopment of Ysgol Pendref in Denbigh, in partnership with the North Wales Construction Partnership.

We are looking forward to once again working with the team at Denbighshire, the project team and the wider community to deliver a high-quality, sustainable education facility.

The scheme will bring Ysgol Pendref’s current provision into one improved teaching and learning environment. Proposals include a dedicated infant and childcare facility, a new hall and kitchen, and wider improvements to support the school’s long-term future.

This important investment forms part of the Welsh Government’s Sustainable Communities for Learning Programme and we are now progressing the design stage.
