2001 was also the year in which Apple unveiled the iPod and launched iTunes, Tony Blair led Labour back into government, Hear'Say released Pure and Simple - the biggest-selling UK single of the year, England beat Germany 5-1 in Munich, and a pint of lager was about to reach £2!

The year is 1997, and Zmoos, a long-established Swiss drainage and civil-engineering contractor, bought this 63-tonne 40/30.

In 2012, when this video of our TM80 Soil Mixing Trencher installing ground stabilisation material to a depth of 7.5m was taken on the banks of the Rhine in Germany, we were also enjoying the London Summer Olympics and the Queen's Diamond Jubilee. Curiosity Rover also landed on Mars, James Bond was back in Skyfall, and we were listening to Carly Rae Jepsen - Call Me Maybe.
