Heavy lifting behind the scenes 💪

A quick look at some of the structural steel work we've been handling lately—including these massive 9-meter beams designed to carry some serious load.

We've worked on plenty of heavy builds over the years, but on this one, the engineering team definitely gave us a run for our money with the sheer amount of steel specified. Let's just say they didn't hold back!

Steel work is hands-down one of the most important parts of a project. Getting those measurements spot-on for ordering is critical because there's zero room for error.

The irony of structural steel is that it's the backbone of the entire building, yet once the project is finished, you don't even see it—unless you're opting for that popular exposed, painted industrial look.
Big shoutout to the crew for getting these massive beams safely in place.

15+ years later and still one of our favorite projects we committed to 💪

Dropped back in to catch up with the clients and check in on how everything is holding up.

We handled this entire project from top to bottom—double-storey brickwork, the roof, windows, and a full interior renovation keeping the original character alive. Walking around outside today, the brickwork and overall finish still look pristine.

Proof that when you do the whole job right the first time, it stands the test of time. Great to see the clients still loving their home.

What started as an old single-story dining room is now a fully upgraded family home. Beyond the complete exterior redesign, this project added:

This hallway opening is part of an ongoing, complete new build project. To create a grander entrance, we demolished the existing walls that previously separated the utility room from the main hallway, significantly expanding the space.

Following the installation of a structural steel beam, our team installed this bespoke staircase.

Technical Details:
• Structure: A custom-welded steel main frame for structural integrity.
• Finish: Premium, treated oak wood, custom-crafted and finished by our skilled carpenters at M8 Designs.
