✨ Meet the Directors – JDA Carpentry Ltd ✨

JDA Carpentry & Building Ltd is run by Jason Astill and Jacob Church. We’re both hands-on and involved in every project, and we genuinely care about doing things properly.

We started JDA to deliver high-quality work without cutting corners. Whether it’s a bespoke kitchen, a full refurbishment or a commercial fit-out, we personally oversee each job to make sure the standard is right, communication is clear and the details aren’t missed.

We keep key trades in-house, including plumbing, electrics and plastering, which helps jobs run smoothly and avoids the usual headaches of dealing with multiple contractors. We’re SafeContractor approved, fully insured, and work with NICEIC electricians and Gas Safe engineers, so our clients know they’re in safe hands.

Most of our work comes from recommendations and repeat customers, which we take as the biggest compliment.

A fresh upgrade to this fire escape doorway 🔧🚪
We removed the old door and fitted a brand-new fire-rated door complete with a new frame and architraves. Everything was carefully aligned, sealed, and fixed to meet safety standards and give the area a clean, modern finish.

Once installed, the full set was prepped, filled, caulked, and decorated — transforming the entrance and brightening the whole hallway.

We removed the damaged newel post and installed a brand-new one, along with fresh handrails and spindles to strengthen and modernise the entire run.

Once the joinery was complete, the whole staircase was fully prepped, sanded, and redecorated for a clean, bright finish. A big improvement to the safety and appearance of this communal area.

Quality repairs, solid workmanship, and a result that will last.
