JDA Carpentry & Building is looking for a reliable, self-employed Fitting Mate to support our carpenters on refurbishment projects across England.

We carry out refurbishment and maintenance works in over 400 care homes across England, along with commercial and residential projects. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with practical experience who wants regular work and the chance to develop their skills.

Responsibilities:
▪️Assist with kitchen, bathroom and wet room installations.
▪️Help with loading, unloading and moving materials.
▪️Keep work areas clean, organised and safe.
▪️Support carpenters with fitting and finishing tasks.
▪️Travel to projects across England and stay away when required.

Requirements:
▪️Previous site or construction experience preferred.
▪️Basic carpentry or fitting experience is an advantage.
▪️Hardworking, reliable and willing to learn.
▪️Own transport preferred.
▪️CSCS card preferred.
▪️Ability to work away from home when required.

We carry out refurbishment and maintenance works in over 400 care homes across England, as well as commercial and residential projects. Due to continued growth, we're looking for a skilled tradesperson who takes pride in producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities:
▪️Install kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms to a high standard.
▪️Carry out 1st and 2nd fix carpentry.
▪️Complete refurbishment works with excellent attention to detail.
▪️Work professionally and safely on sites across England.

Requirements:
▪️Proven experience fitting kitchens, bathrooms and wet rooms.
▪️Excellent carpentry skills and attention to detail.
▪️Own tools and transport.
▪️Ability to work away from home when required.
▪️CSCS card preferred.
▪️DBS check advantageous but not essential.

🌿 OUR OWN GARDEN PROJECT 🌿

We don’t just build for our customers – we enjoy creating outdoor spaces at home too.

🔨Another transformation completed for a happy customer.

We removed the existing staircase components and installed a brand-new oak handrail, matching oak spindles, and oak veneer cladding to the newel posts, giving the staircase a fresh, modern look while retaining its character.

The natural oak finish has completely transformed the space and created a much brighter, more premium feel throughout the hallway.

This cloakroom has been completely transformed with all carpentry, plumbing, and installation work now finished.

Our scope of works included:

✔️ Concealed cistern installation
✔️ WC installation
✔️ Vanity unit and basin installation
✔️ Plumbing alterations and connections
✔️ LED mirror installation
