Another job completed this week.

We were called in to finish a job after another plasterer had started the work but left it unfinished halfway through.

The window wall had already been bonded out, so we thoroughly prepared the surface with three coats of PVA to ensure a strong bond before applying a fresh skim coat across the entire wall.

The result is a smooth, clean finish that’s now ready for decorating.

We only did the coving on this job the plastering was done by and plasterer

Today’s job involved removing polystyrene coving after the customer was left disappointed with the previous plasterer’s workmanship.

We carefully removed the existing coving, thoroughly scraped away all of the old adhesive to create a clean, solid surface, and then installed new 127mm plaster coving throughout. The end result is a much cleaner, sharper, and more traditional finish that completely transforms the room.

Finally finished this bedroom renovation in Radstock, taking it right back to basics and transforming it from start to finish.

The project included:
• Stripping back all the old woodwork and removing loose paint.
• Fully reskimming the entire room.
• Building a bespoke curtain pelmet.
• Lowering the cupboard door frame.
• Installing new coving throughout.
• Fitting new skirting boards and architraves.
• Applying a mist coat followed by two top coats of brilliant white matt emulsion to the ceiling and brilliant white silk emulsion to the walls.
• Finishing all the woodwork and doors in brilliant white silk.

A complete refresh from start to finish, leaving the room looking clean, sharp, and ready to enjoy.
