More farmers are putting energro to work.

Across the UK, farmers are using organic digestate as a practical, home-grown biofertiliser.

Helping reduce reliance on artificial fertiliser while making good use of nutrients already in circulation.

Did you know? From January 2027, imported fertiliser is expected to be covered by the UK’s new carbon border tax.

What does that mean for your farm?
For many farmers, fertiliser is already one of the biggest and most unpredictable input costs. If imported fertiliser carries an additional carbon cost, that could add further pressure to prices and make nutrient planning even harder.

How can energro help?
energro is a sustainable, home-grown organic biofertiliser made from recycled food waste. It returns valuable nutrients to the land and can help reduce reliance on carbon-intensive artificial fertiliser.

That means a more resilient nutrient source, less exposure to volatile global fertiliser markets, and potential savings on input costs.

Good for your farm. Good for the environment.

Changing the way you do things on your farm is never a small decision.

Things are tough for UK farmers and you can't afford to take a risk on something that might not perform.

That’s why it matters to hear from farmers already using energro.

Farmers are choosing digestate because it works as part of a practical nutrient plan. It helps return valuable nutrients to the land, reduces reliance on artificial fertiliser, and can support better control over input costs.

Yes it's a sustainable option, but more importantly it's a workable one.

UK farming has relied heavily on imported fertiliser leaving many farmers exposed to rising costs and unpredictable supply chains.

But there’s another way to think about nutrients.

Every year, huge amounts of food waste are generated across the UK. Through anaerobic digestion, those nutrients can be recovered and returned to farmland as quality biofertiliser. Closing the loop between food, waste and farming.

For many farms, it’s becoming part of a more resilient approach to nutrient management. Helping with soil health and cost pressures in a changing agricultural landscape.

This World Environment Day is focused on climate action, nature and the future.

For farming, that conversation matters in very practical ways.

Artificial fertiliser can be energy and carbon intensive to produce. Biofertiliser offers a different approach, recycling nutrients that are already in circulation and returning them to the land.

Energro is a nutrient-rich biofertiliser created through anaerobic digestion. It helps supply key nutrients including nitrogen, phosphate, potash and sulphur, while supporting farmers looking to reduce reliance on artificial fertiliser.

It is a practical example of circular farming: making better use of organic material, supporting soil health and helping protect the resources future food production depends on.

Good for the environment. Good for farming.

We hear a lot of myths about digestate. But what is the reality?

Energro is a quality assured biofertilser created through anaerobic digestion, returning valuable nutrients back to the soil whilst helping turn food waste into renewable energy.

In this carousel we’re separating fact from fiction. Take a look ⤵️
