Available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, they handle calls from patients, families, staff and emergency services, helping people find the information and support they need quickly and efficiently.

From connecting callers to wards and departments to activating on-call teams and supporting emergency communications, the team plays a vital role in keeping our hospitals running smoothly around the clock.

No two calls are the same, but whatever the situation, our Switchboard colleagues provide a calm, professional and reassuring voice when it's needed most.💙
