We supply natural Cotswold Stone for new build and restoration projects. Produced as rough dressed, the stone is cropped to approximately 115 to 125 mm on bed to comply with current building regulations. Lengths are random, with face heights generally between 25 to 150mm according to the stone chosen. Tinkers Barn Grey is grey/cream stone, hard and durable. It has a natural, slightly weathered appearance. We produce rough dressed building stone with rises generally 75-125mm and cropped dry stone walling with rise heights mixed in a bag generally 25 to 90mm. Dry stone Walling supplied “As Dug” and sold by the tonne either tipped or in bags with random widths and lengths. The thickness varies, but is generally between the ranges 25 to 115mm. Roofing Slates Cotswold Stone Quarries are proud to be the leading specialist supplier of Cotswold Roofing Slates in the region, with the ability to produce over 50 old roofing square (475 M2) a month. Our slates are genuine Cotswold slates and are not imported. They are durable and highly regarded by Cotswold stone roofers for their relative flatness and ease of laying. Our roofing slates are sourced from Tinkers Barn quarry, at the heart of Cotswolds natural stone production for over 300 years. Adjacent, but now defunct, quarries have provided roofing slates throughout the Midlands and South of England and for many historic buildings in London and Oxford colleges. Paving
Our attractive and natural Crazy Paving is sourced from our Tinkers Barn quarry. As well as being available in a variety of widths and lengths, it is relatively flat and very durable. Paving thickness varies from 25 to 50mm and is supplied by the square metre for the smallest to the largest outdoor space.
