And this is only the BACK of it.

The before photos tell the story…

The old roofline was transformed, new gables and dormers were added, and the rear of the property was completely reimagined — creating a home that feels bigger, brighter and built around how the family actually wants to live.

One of the biggest transformations we’ve completed at Thorn Homes.

We removed the old hipped roof, added four new gables and dormers front and rear, and completely transformed the exterior.

Traditional slate. Sliding sash windows with solar glass. New cladding, doors and garage doors — plus concealed LED lighting that gives the house a beautiful glow at night.

4.5 months later, this is the result.

But a great build isn’t just about the finished photos.

It’s about choosing a contractor who turns up, finishes the job, gets the details right — and is still there at the end.

There’s more to come from the rear extension and kitchen.
