It started as an empty corner, but it’s officially the ultimate pet-friendly workspace! 🐶✨

Our clients wanted a space that was highly functional for working from home but also comfortable for their dogs. We took the room from a completely blank canvas to a flawless space where productivity meets puppy cuddles.

We took this room from a blank canvas to a stunning modern focal point. This custom-built media wall features a sleek recessed TV mount, an integrated soundbar nook, and a beautiful electric fireplace for those cozy evenings.

The addition of the floor-to-ceiling oak slat panelling and warm LED accent lighting adds that perfect touch of texture and luxury. Topped off with some herringbone flooring, the room feels entirely reborn.

Nothing beats the solid feel of a traditional cut roof—especially when we’re making the most of this Spring weather! ☀️🌱

Cutting the rafters on-site, we can ensure a perfect fit for every angle—including working seamlessly around the new soil pipe and the existing house gable.

The structure is now solid and ready for the roofers to come in and get it weathered. Cutting roofs in while the sun is out makes all the difference!

This job was a prime example of why you can't just skim over failing Artex. To fix this for good, we went with the OCB Way:

Completed in Charlton Kings 📍

There is no better way to start the year than with a total transformation.

This balcony in Charlton Kings needed more than just a quick fix—it needed a complete overhaul.

We took this right back to the original brickwork (swipe to see the demo! ➡️) to ensure everything was solid and sound before starting the rebuild. To ensure a lifetime of protection and a premium look, we used:

• GRP One Coat System: A high-performance, seamless waterproofing layer that is incredibly durable and built to withstand the elements.

• Monocouche Render: A through-coloured, weather-resistant finish that looks fantastic and removes the need for constant repainting.

Good morning from the OCB team! ☕️

We are back with a returning customer today, and this project is a prime example of why plastering over existing Artex can be a major risk. This is the second time this homeowner has dealt with this issue: the plaster is literally peeling away from the lounge ceiling in giant sheets. 😬

Why does this happen?

Often, new plaster fails to bond to old Artex because of:

• Poor Adhesion: Modern plaster struggling to grip onto old, non-porous textures or silk paint.
• Weight Stress: The heavy weight of a new skim pulling on Artex that wasn't perfectly bonded to the boards in the first place.
• Hidden Contaminants: Years of dust or grease acting as a "release agent" between the layers.

The OCB Way: We don't just patch the problem; we fix it properly so it never happens again. Stay tuned throughout the day as we strip this back, prep it right, and get this ceiling looking flawless.
