𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗸 𝗘𝘅𝗵𝗶𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝘁 𝗜𝗖𝗦𝗢𝗕𝗔 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 𝗜𝗻 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗮 - The International Committee for the Study of Bauxite, Alumina and Aluminium (ICSOBA) is proud to announce the 44th International Conference and Exhibition, which will be held from 15 to 20 November 2026 in Bengaluru, Karnataka state, India. Altek will be in full attendance exhibiting with members of our team who are looking forward to the event.

The conference will focus on key topics, including:

• Energy challenges
• Digitalisation and Artificial Intelligence applications
• Health, environment, and safety
• Market scenarios and economic outlook

ICSOBA 2026 will place a strong emphasis on addressing the critical challenges facing the aluminium industry across the entire value chain, from bauxite mining to smelter casting operations.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗸 𝗔𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝘂𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗗𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗱𝗼𝗿𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 - As ALUMINIUM Düsseldorf 2026 draws to a close, the ALTEK team would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who has taken the time to visit us at Hall 6, Stand F51 over the past three days. It has been a fantastic opportunity to reconnect with customers, meet new industry contacts, strengthen existing partnerships and share ideas with aluminium professionals from around the world.

Throughout the exhibition, we've enjoyed valuable conversations about the challenges and opportunities facing the aluminium industry, particularly around improving metal recovery, reducing waste, increasing operational efficiency and creating more sustainable aluminium production processes. 𝗔 𝗙𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗼𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘁 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗸 𝗦𝘂𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿 𝗕𝗕𝗤 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 - Last week it was great to see colleagues, friends, and family come together to enjoy some well-deserved downtime away from our usual day-to-day activities. From delicious food provided by Fat Pig BBQ, freshly made Belgian waffles, pick & mix, and plenty of games and activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

One of the highlights was making eclipse viewers with the children, and adults, who did an amazing job getting creative and learning something new along the way.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organise the event and to all those who attended and made it such a memorable day. Events like these are a great reminder of the importance of taking time to connect, celebrate our people, and strengthen the relationships that make our workplace such a positive environment. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝗶 𝗕𝗼𝘅𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝘁𝗲𝗸 𝗘𝘂𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗲 - To mark the start of the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, colleagues at Altek Europe took part in a Wii Boxing Tournament inspired by the sporting event last week.

With the title of Wii Boxing Champion up for grabs, there was plenty of friendly competition throughout the day, along with a few surprises in the virtual ring. The tournament was a great way to break up the working week, bring colleagues together, and enjoy some light-hearted fun outside of their usual day-to-day roles.
