Called out to this 1 last week, boiler kept going to fault. Turns out they have had insulated cladding fitted outside. They had pulled the flue to make it match up not realising it had pulled out of the boiler.

Flue fault found on a regular service . Seal on the boiler had risen up and caused the mixing of fresh air and the products of combustion. Luckily it could be taken apart & easily and rectified in 1 visit.
Servicing is as much a safety check as it is cleaning.
