We have expanded our dimensional inspection capability with a FARO Edge ScanArm, Model 14000 - a 7-axis portable CMM combining contact-probe measurement with non-contact laser scanning.

This gives us additional capability for:

📐 Detailed dimensional inspection
🖥️ CAD-to-part comparison
✅ First-off and periodic production validation
📊 Complex component and fabricated assembly inspection
🔄 Reverse engineering and 3D data capture

This investment provides faster feedback directly into production, stronger inspection records and traceability and earlier identification of process variation.

From weld integrity beneath the surface to the dimensional accuracy of the finished component, we're continuing to invest in the equipment & controls needed to deliver quality at every stage.

Quality is not something we leave until final inspection. It is built into the process, monitored throughout production and supported by evidence.

As part of our continued investment in quality and in-house metrology, we have introduced dedicated microscope equipment for In-House weld macro testing, together with a structured macro-testing schedule.

Representative production samples are now routinely sectioned, prepared and examined to assess:

🔹 Weld pe*******on
🔹 Fusion and root condition
🔹 Weld profile and geometry
🔹 Process consistency & repeatability

The images demonstrate exactly why this matters. Macro examination can reveal conditions beneath the surface that may not be apparent during a conventional external inspection.

Detecting variation early provides our welding and quality teams with faster feedback, supports effective corrective action and helps maintain consistent results.
